How to edit a checkbook

To edit a checkbook, navigate to Settings > Administrative > Checkbooks Manager. Once in the Checkbooks Manager screen, locate the checkbook and click the pencil icon on the right hand side.

After the Update Checkbook window has opened, you can edit all information including account, starting balance, and checkbook name.

Note: If the GL Account # and GL Account Description are greyed out and uneditable, this is because there are already checkbook transactions created in this checkbook. To edit the account, the checkbook transactions will need to be deleted first. To delete the checkbook transactions, view How to edit and delete checkbook transactions.
