# How to edit or delete a journal entry

To edit a journal entry:

- Navigate to **Journal Entries**
- Scroll down to view your posted journal entries and locate the entry you wish to edit
- Select the pencil icon on the right side of the entry
- When the Edit Journal Entry window opens, edit your information and click "Update"

**Note:** If the journal entry is not saving properly after making edits, this can be caused by a connection error. Please try deleting and reposting the entry.

To delete the journal entry:

- Navigate to **Journal Entries**
- Scroll down to view your posted journal entries and locate the entry you wish to delete
- Click the trash can icon on the right side of the line. You will be prompted with a confirmation "Are you sure?", click "Yes"
